It’s the most wonderful month of the year! For me at least. Thanksgiving, my aniversary, and best of all HALLOWEEN! Not to mention, cool, windy, rain, and shorter days. Those all happen to be perfect reasons to stay cozy and enjoy the best things about fall.
This will be a hard one, my father is very ill and dealing with caring for him and his end of life care is not only a massive emotional and mental task but also physically consuming and trying to create a balance with those obligations and my obligations to my family and still enjoying the month that envolves so many of the events we love and look forward to.
Thanksgiving is really scaled back this year, just myself, my husband, and our girls so we opted to cancel the turkey and make it a ThanksDUCKing dinner. This will be my first time cooking duck so not messing it up is a big goal.
Halloween month is here, stock up on candy, get the costumes ready, and creepify the house!
I have a line up for movies to share with the kids this year and some good creepy dinner plans. With everything going on just making time to share the season with the kids and get ready for everything is enough on my to do list.
